| Greens knocked out of FA Trophy
Out of the blue, in the 31st minute, AFC Dons drew level. They won a left wing corner and, when the ball was played in, no green-shirted player followed GOODLIFFE's run and he had the simple task of side-footing past Wilmot from eight yards out. Having got back into the game, the Dons began to play with a little more confidence. Finn was well marshalled by Burgess, while James Parker and Marc Leach held their own against Daniel Webb and new signing Mark De Bolla. Wilmot made a good save low by his right post to deny Sam Hatton. Three minutes before half-time, Wimbledon scored what turned out to their winning goal. It came from the penalty spot, a kick converted by DE BOLLA, who shot to his right as Wilmot dived the other way, but it was a harsh decision against Hendon in general and Dyer in particular.
Growing Pains: Adapting After a Merger
This product will be 10 times bigger and more successful than it would be if we stayed alone," Mr. Heppelmann recalls thinking. To make it work, Mr. Heppelmann had to become a cheerleader. "I needed the executive team at the acquiring company to feel like they just acquired the hottest thing ever," he says. He also met with Parametric's biggest customers to sell them on his product. It worked. In the first six months it was owned by Parametric, Windchill recorded $11 million in revenue; last year, it generated about $340 million. Nearly all of Windchill's 20 employees have stuck with Parametric. And Mr. Heppelmann has gotten a shot at a bigger management role. He's now executive vice president and chief product officer for Parametric, which has annual revenue of about $1 billion.
Kaufman County sheriff candidate indicted on oppression charges
Frankum called it "dirty tricks" in January when a warrant was issued for his arrest in a separate case based on allegations that he had stolen police equipment from his former department. Mr. Frankum, who was expected to turn himself in on Monday, did not return calls for comment. David Montague, spokesman for the Tarrant County district attorney's office, confirmed Monday that a grand jury on Feb. 7 indicted Mr. Frankum on three counts involving two complainants, whom Mr. Montague declined to identify. Mr. Montague said he did not know when the original complaints that led to the indictments were made or whether they originated with an agency other than the district attorney's office. All the incidents allegedly happened between February and August 2006 while Mr. Frankum was employed by the Police Department in Pelican Bay, a town of about 1,600 northwest of Fort Worth in Tarrant County.
Campaign scrambles to explain errant 'e'
1:30 P.M. A news release is e-mailed from a campaign spokeswoman. The colorful graphic letterhead features a picture of the candidate and the words, "Pat McCrory Governer" 2 P.M. Victoria Smith, McCrory's campaign manager, says in an interview, "There's no way this was misspelled ... somebody must have sent that out and hacked into that masthead." 2:30 P.M. The misspelling is fixed in the electronic news release, a graphic that can be updated even as it sits in reporters' computers. Smith said that no one from the campaign made any changes to the graphic and that the hacker who first sabotaged "governor" must have corrected the error. Smith said someone has been hacking McCrory's mayoral Web site for six months. 3 P.M. Colleen Brannan, a spokeswoman helping the campaign with Tuesday's announcement in Jamestown, tells a reporter that "governor" had been misspelled by a graphic designer working with the campaign.
CAN'T BEAT 'EM? CURSE 'EM.
Then in 1963, after Maroons fans petitioned the NFL to get their championship back, Cardinals president Charles "Stormy" Bidwill Jr. (current owner Bill's dad) wrote a letter to sportswriter Red Smith saying, essentially, that his family had no intention of honoring the wishes of some hick town. Four decades passed before the issue was formally brought up again, at the 2003 owners meeting in Philly. There, Rooney, Lurie, Pottsville mayor John D. W. Reiley and Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell offered a solution that had then-commissioner Paul Tagliabue's blessing: Let the Cards and the Maroons share the title. .

Two-wheeler riders tend to lose control over their vehicle when they pass these bumps. For car drivers it is another speed beaker on the road. No move has been made by the council to begin the repair of these roads. Similarly, the department recently repaired a road cave in Phase XI. Here the sewerage pipes were changed following the cave in. The department filled the 10-foot wide road cave in with loose earth. The MC has to repair the road but residents are still waiting. .
